Remote Learning & Chromebook Support


Jeffco Tech For Ed 1:1 Chromebook program for all WR 9th & 10th graders.
Devices are for ALL Freshman & Sophomores regardless of which learning option was chosen.  Juniors and Seniors have temporary loaner devices available.  If you are a Jr/Sr who needs a loaner device during remote learning, please email Dan Watkins - Dan.Watkins@jeffco.k12.co.us

Broken Device?
If your device has physical damage, students should contact Dan.Watkins@jeffco.k12.co.us
Chromebook Troubleshooting

Before calling the district's family/student IT department (303) 982-3438, please try the following tricks:
Logins:

Use a Chrome browser and make sure you re logged-in with your School Google account (not a personal account)

Use the log-in "Sign in with Google" button whenever it is presented

For other district applications (like www.Jeffco.Schoology.com), use your school ID only (not full email) and school password


Update

History

Extensions

There are a lot of extensions and games students add that mess with features on your device. So, we need you to clear out anything that isn't school-used

Restart: Shutdown your chromebook; wait 10 seconds before restarting. Don't just close the lid, Restart your chreombook often.


Reset Chromebook:
If the above tips didn't solve your issue then do a Chromebook Reset (this will wipe the device and you will need to reconnect to your home internet)

WARRANTY INFORMATION


During In-Person Learning
Students should bring a charged chromebook to school each day.  If students are having a problem with the chromebook or if there is damage they should bring to the Library for assistance and next steps. Students are financially responsible for all repairs.  See links above for information on accidental repair warranty options.
