Social Studies at Wheat Ridge High School
The Wheat Ridge High School Social Studies Department prepares students to expand and deepen their knowledge and critical-thinking skills about history, government, economics, geography and the social sciences.
We offer a variety of courses, including Advanced Placement, concurrent enrollment and exciting electives like psychology and sociology. Staff runs the gamut of generations from Boomer to Millennial, and it is generally agreed that the Social Studies Department is the best.
