The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
To Join NHS:
Students are invited to apply for NHS in the spring based on their GPA. Freshmen must have a 3.75 or higher and all other grades must have a 3.5 or higher to be invited. Once invited to apply, students fill out an application and inductees are announced at the end of April. The induction ceremony is in early May and new members will attend their first NHS meeting later that month.
New Inductee Members :
Our induction ceremony is on Thursday, May 2rd 2019 at 5:30 pm. Inductees will gather in the cafeteria at 5:30 pm to organize for the processional; the ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 pm. A short reception in the cafeteria will follow the ceremony.
