A cornerstone of the Wheat Ridge community for more than a century, Wheat Ridge High School (WRHS) has a tradition of excellence in academics, the arts, athletics, and STEM.
WRHS is located in the city of Wheat Ridge and is accredited by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges.
Mission Statement
Wheat Ridge High School’s mission is to inspire all students to think critically, to achieve their potential and to become responsible citizens as well as self-directed, lifelong learners.
Course Offerings
Athletics
Wheat Ridge Farmer athletics is a member of the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) and the Jefferson County Athletic League. Farmer teams compete at the 4A level in all sports except boys’ and girls’ basketball (5A) and football (3A). WRHS has won 50 state championships and 200 league championships, the most among all Jeffco high schools.
